Georgia has wrapped up the 2022 regular season by going 12-0 with a 37-14 Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate win over in-state rival Georgia Tech.

The Bulldogs dominated the second half. At halftime, it was a 3-point game (10-7 UGA), and midway through the 3rd quarter still a 1-possession game (13-7).

The win counts the same, but the fact that it was a second-half pull-away game as opposed to an early put-away game has some fans wondering about No. 5 LSU’s chance in the SEC Championship Game. UGA enters as a heavy favorite.

When the matchup was set following Week 11, Georgia opened as a 15.5-point favorite. The SEC Championship odds will constantly be updated right up until the game’s kickoff on Dec. 4 (4 p.m. ET, CBS). It will be interesting to see how the line looks once Rivalry Week is in the books. No. 5 LSU at Texas A&M is set for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Here’s a sample of what fans and media members are saying about the Georgia-LSU matchup on Twitter:
