Georgia’s 2019 recruiting class took a hit on Tuesday when Jadon Haselwood, an elite in-state wide receiver recruit, decommitted from the Dawgs.

Haselwood’s decommitment alone dropped Georgia from the No. 1 class to the No. 3 class in the 2019 247 Sports Team Rankings.

According to the 247 Sports Crystal Ball predictions, Miami now has a 50 percent chance to land the wideout from Cedar Grove High School.

Miami is obviously coached by former Georgia head coach Mark Richt, who currently holds the No. 18 recruiting class in the country. Richt is currently in his third season at Miami, and has compiled a 23-8 overall record so far.

It felt like “The U” was briefly back when it started the 2017 season 10-0 before dropping three straight, and getting pummeled by LSU in the 2018 season opener. However, a commitment from the No. 1 wide receiver in the country would boost that No. 18 overall ranking.
