Isaiah Wilson was supposed to be a key member of the Tennessee Titans’ offensive line for years to come. However, things have not gone as planned for the former Georgia tackle after he first arrived in the NFL as a first-round draft pick in 2020.

After the Titans selected Wilson with the No. 29 overall pick, he ended up playing only 4 snaps in 1 game during his rookie season. He had some legal issues and was later traded to the Miami Dolphins back in March. However, he was waived 3 days after the deal after reportedly showing up late to a physical and missing multiple workouts.

Since then, Wilson has remained a free agent despite being a 22-year-old who had first-round talent. But perhaps his rumored low work ethic and off-the-field issues have had an impact on that.

Wilson may finally be getting another opportunity soon, though. On Friday, ESPN’s Field Yates reported that Wilson worked out for the Indianapolis Colts, marking the first time he’s had a workout for a team since he got cut by the Dolphins.

If Wilson is motivated and plays up to his potential, he could still be a strong NFL offensive lineman. He impressed during his 3 years at Georgia, and there’s no question he has the talent and skills to make an impact for a team’s offense.
