Jadon Perlotte has 2 seasons of high school football remaining, but he’s already set on playing in the SEC. The 5-star linebacker committed Thursday to play for Georgia.
Perlotte announced his decision live on YouTube Thursday. After picking up 28 scholarship offers, Perlotte narrowed his recruitment down to Georgia, Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State and Oregon. He briefly put on an Ohio State cap but said it did not fit and switched to a UGA one.
Perlotte, a Buford (Georgia) standout, is currently listed at 6-3, 200 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Perlotte is rated 5-stars, the No. 4 linebacker and No. 32 prospect overall nationally in the 2025 recruiting class.
The 2025 class is a long way from signing and enrolling, but UGA already has 2 players committed. Pennsylvania running back Jabree Wallace-Coleman committed to the Bulldogs back in July.
