Javon Bullard is going pro after 3 seasons at Georgia.

The AP All-SEC Second Team 2023 selection took to social media on Sunday to formally declare for the 2024 NFL Draft. He shared a note addressed to Dawg Nation.

“Foremost, I want to give thanks to God for blessing me with my abilities to play the game of football,” Bullard wrote. “I will forever value the past few years during my time at the University of Georgia and am forever honored to have represented the G.

“Mom and Dad, thank you for always supporting me and for the sacrifices that you made for me. Without y’all, I would not be the man I am today.

“To all of my coaches and trainers during my life, thank you for constantly believing in me and my abilities. The leadership and advice you have given me has made me a better football player and an even better man.

“To my brothers, our bond is unbreakable and I will forever remember the friendships we’ve built on and off the field.

“To the Georgia fans, thank you for being the best fans in college football. Playing between the hedges on Saturdays has been one of the highlights of my life. I’m grateful for your support.

“With that being said, I am excited to start the next chapter of my life. I will officially be declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft.”

A multi-year starter at defensive back, Bullard joined UGA in 2021. He leaves with 114 total tackles, including 8 TFLs and 3.5 sacks in his Bulldog career. Bullard also logged 12 passes defended, including 4 interceptions, in 40 games for Georgia.
