The Georgia Bulldogs locked up the SEC East title on Saturday with a win over South Carolina and a Kentucky loss to Ole Miss.

There’s still a lot of work for the Bulldogs to do to continue their magical season, but things are going well for coach Kirby Smart’s crew.

In just his second year at the helm of the program, Smart has Georgia at No. 1 in the College Football Playoff rankings and sitting at 9-0 heading into Week 11.

With Saturday’s win, which clinched a division title, Smart earned a $150,000 bonus and is now up to $225,000 in bonuses already this year:

An SEC championship would likely net Smart more bonus money, as would a CFP berth and potential national title.

For now, though, he’ll worry about the upcoming game at Auburn, which will be a huge one for both the Bulldogs and Tigers.

Games like that are why Smart makes big money, so he’ll need to have the Dawgs ready to compete against the Tigers next weekend.
