Kirk Herbstreit impressed by pair of Bulldogs
Two big storylines heading into Georgia’s meeting with No. 22 North Carolina were how RB Nick Chubb would look in his return from last year’s knee injury and how QB Jacob Eason would perform in his debut.
Kirk Herbstreit was impressed by both.
Great to see Chubb back and running hard. And the kid Eason played very well. Dawgs showed a lot of heart! Congrats! https://t.co/4yD9KPdfZ6

Chubb turned in a monster 222-yard game, scoring twice. Eason shined off the bench, going 8-of-12 for 131 yards and a touchdown pass.
UGA won 33-24.
