Day 2 of SEC Media Days in Hoover, Alabama is about to kick off, and the Georgia Bulldogs will be in attendance.
Therefore, they were a big topic of discussion on “SEC This Morning” on the SEC Network, and analyst Greg McElroy thinks Kirby Smart is doing a great job as the team’s coach.
As you can hear below, McElroy said he thinks the Dawgs will claim a national title under Smart, and it’s just a matter of when it happens:

“They’ve only been here now for a couple of years,” he said. “In talking to Georgia fans, yeah, they’re frustrated they haven’t been able to beat Alabama yet. They’re frustrated they haven’t won a national championship. … I still feel they’re satisfied with how quickly they’ve gotten back to this point. …
“My thing is that it’s inevitable. They’re going to win a national championship. It’s just a matter of if it’s this year, next year, two years from now, or five years from now. They will win a national championship while he’s at Georgia.”
The Bulldogs are often mentioned just below Alabama and Clemson when it comes to the best teams in the country. Can they make it to the College Football Playoff field again this fall?
