Mike Bobo sums up the difference between Georgia and Colorado State in one word
Mike Bobo played quarterback at Georgia from 1993 to 1997 and then returned to his alma mater to serve as offensive coordinator from 2007 to 2014.
Now the head coach at Colorado State, Bobo was asked on Wednesday to sum up the differences between the Georgia program and the Colorado State program.
As you can see in the tweet below, he needed just one word to explain the difference — “money:”

During the 2017-18 fiscal year, the SEC distributed $43.1 million to each of its 14 member schools. Data from 2015 reveals that the Mountain West distributed $46 million total, split among its member schools, that year.
That’s not surprising, given that Georgia is in a Power 5 conference and Colorado State is a Group of 5 squad. Still, it’s worth mentioning that Power 5 schools rake in the cash when it comes to football.
