Last year, an undefeated Georgia team went into Auburn and fell to the Tigers 40-17, but managed to get its revenge in the SEC title game, taking down Auburn to earn a spot in the College Football Playoff.

This year, the Bulldogs already have one loss, so they can’t afford another, even though they’ve already locked up the SEC East title.

On ESPN’s SportsCenter on Saturday morning, SEC Network host Paul Finebaum said he expects the Bulldogs to take care of business at home and avenge last year’s loss in the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry:

“I got Georgia,” he said. “Georgia remembers what happened last year at Auburn when they were No. 1. They will knock Auburn off today in Athens.”

The Bulldogs have been playing well the last couple of weeks, picking up big wins over Florida and Kentucky to clinch the East.

Will they keep the good times going on Saturday in Athens? Tune in to ESPN at 7 p.m. Eastern time to find out.
