The Georgia Bulldogs are preparing for the Sugar Bowl, but now they may be without one of their running backs.

According to Athens-Clarke County arrest records, RB James Cook was arrested on Saturday morning on a pair of charges.

Per the records, Cook was arrested for possession of an open alcoholic container beverage while driving and driving without a valid license.

Cook was released on bond just before 3 a.m. on Saturday morning. It remains to be seen what punishment will be handed down to him from the Bulldogs.

Cook had 176 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns this season, adding 132 receiving yards. He was a sophomore in 2019.
