Sam Pittman and the Arkansas Razorbacks are on a hiring frenzy this weekend. Having recently added Derrick LeBlanc (Kentucky), Jimmy Smith (Georgia State) and Scott Fountain (Georgia) to complete his on-field staff, it appears Pittman is looking to hire two more staffers away from UGA. Nikki Chavanelle of Rivals is reporting that Arkansas is set to hire Georgia associate strength and condition coach Jamil Walker and senior associate director of strength and conditioning Ed Ellis.

Walker will be the head of strength and conditioning for the Razorbacks. Walker had been an associate strength and conditioning coach at Georgia since 2017. Prior to UGA, Walker was at Wisconsin, his alma mater, from 2008-17. Walker played running back for the Badgers, graduating in 2008.

Ellis returns to Arkansas having begun his coaching career as a Razorbacks graduate assistant over 30 years ago (1987-89). He joined the Georgia staff in 2015 after spending 13 years as Director of Strength and Conditioning at the UCF.
