The season finale for college football teams across the nation is now on the horizon as the College Football Playoff picture also continues to become more clear.

On the heels of the conclusion of some Week 12 action that really shook things up, former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III released his list of the top 5 teams in the FBS. That included Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, TCU and USC in that order.

For now, the teams in the top four of the CFP rankings (meaning they would be in today) are Georgia (No. 1), Ohio State (No. 2), Michigan (No. 3) and TCU (No. 4). Depending on how things play out from this point, there is a case for the likes of LSU (No. 5), USC (No. 6) and even Alabama (No. 7) to edge in last-second.
