Report: Georgia hoops big man Rodney Howard expected to transfer
Georgia basketball is set to lose a talented freshman from its 2019 signing class.
Rodney Howard, a 6-foot-10 center, is expected to transfer, according to hoops insider Jeff Goodman.
Howard played sparingly for Georgia this year. The Greenville, South Carolina, native played in 24 games and averaged just 7.3 minutes per game. Howard averaged just 1.3 points per game, along with 1.5 rebounds per game. He scored 4 points in 3 different games in 2019.
The 3-star prospect was ranked as the nation’s No. 48 overall center and the state of South Carolina’s No. 7 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He began playing basketball as a sophomore in high school.
