The Georgia Bulldogs bring back some key pieces from last year’s team, but there are still some question marks entering 2019.

One of those is at offensive coordinator, where James Coley will replace Jim Chaney after Chaney left for Tennessee.

On Monday, Athlon Sports released an article with SEC coaches commenting anonymously on other teams in the conference. One coach named Coley as the Bulldogs’ biggest question mark this fall:

“The biggest question mark is James Coley as a first-time play-caller in the SEC. That’s going to be scary at first. And in that situation, the responsibility is solely on you if it goes bad, because the talent is all over the field. But Fromm helps you out there. He’s comfortable with his stuff.”

As the coach mentions, QB Jake Fromm will be a great resource for Coley to continue to utilize, but calling plays is no easy task.
