In Week 1, Georgia-Clemson was the biggest game of the week. While lacking in offensive fireworks, UGA’s win over preseason No. 3 Clemson was the headline result of college football’s first full Saturday.

The win over Clemson is huge for the Bulldogs’ College Football Playoff resume. Kirby Smart’s squad appears to have a favorable schedule the rest of the way with no need to worry about No. 1 Alabama or No. 5 Texas A&M during the regular season. Georgia fans have “hope” again, a subject hilariously tackled in the latest “SEC Shorts” sketch, shared Saturday on the SEC Network:

Saturday’s clip is a callback to an offseason sketch “How Georgia Fans Deal with Hope.” Dawg fans may finally be embracing hope, but the “bless their hearts” ending shows the SEC Shorts crew isn’t expecting Kirby Smart’s squad to get it done.
