Tom Crean and the Georgia Bulldogs nearly pulled off a major upset of No. 1 Auburn on Saturday afternoon in Athens.

But, the Dawgs came up 2 points short after a controversial ending.

On his radio show on Monday night, Crean sounded off on the non-call at the end of the game (via OnlineAthens.com):

“In 22 years, I’ve never been a part of a non-call in a game defining moment like that,” Crean said on his radio show. “I’m just disappointed that our players didn’t get a chance to win it on the other end or our fans didn’t get a chance to enjoy that.”

Crean also revealed that he reached out to the league office to complain:

Crean said he spoke to the person he needed to in the league office. The SEC’s coordinator of officials is Mike Eades.

“That’s a tough, tough, way for your team not to have a chance to win the game when it ends the way that it did,” Crean said.

Here’s a look at the game’s deciding play:

Crean may have a point. Something seemed to happen there, whether the call would have gone against Georgia or Auburn. But, it was a bit surprising a there was no whistle.
