WATCH: 5-star freshman WR George Pickens flashes his talent

Georgia freshman WR George Pickens has already made a name for himself with acrobatic catches in the preseason. Now he’s doing it when the games count.
On the drive where Pickens caught his first career touchdown pass, he first caught a 43-yard pass where he laid out parallel to the ground. Then two plays later, Pickens made a 15-yard catch in the end zone as he streaked across the field and got his foot down as he made a catch. That put Georgia up 35-7 against overmatched Murray State as the Bulldogs pulled away.
By that point he had three catches for 68 yards and a TD. His first catch was also a leaping grab for 10 yards.
Pickens has already drawn comparisons to former Georgia great A.J. Green, and the Sanford Stadium faithful certainly let their appreciation show with big cheers in the first half. There is likely plenty more where this came from for Pickens.
