WATCH: D.J. Shockley pays off Georgia-LSU bet with Marcus Spears in 'uncomfortable' fashion
SEC Network analysts this season have made bets on some of the bigger games of the season, and agreed to wear the opposing team’s colors, typically against their alma maters.
Marcus Spears did it two weeks ago in the LSU-Florida game with Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, and last week, Spears bet with former Georgia QB D.J. Shockley.
“I’m a man of my word, Marcus,” Shockley said in a video posted to Twitter. “This is for you.”
“It hurts, but here it goes,” Shockley said. “My shirt, my chest, it’s already itching. But I’m a man of my word, lost a bet, LSU Tigers came through, they got the Dub. Here I am, Georgia boy, in the LSU shirt. Hope to see y’all again though.”
Another former Georgia QB, Buck Belue, replied, “Those colors could not have been comfortable!” and Shockley said, “Bro you have no idea lol.”
