WATCH: Everyone’s talking about this Patrick Mahomes-Mecole Hardman TD

From the time he was drafted, former Georgia WR Mecole Hardman has created a buzz in Kansas City.
On Friday, Hardman was part of one of the highlight plays in Kansas City practice. In a video shared to Twitter by Tom Martin of KCTV5, you can Mahomes do his usual scrambling to extend the play before uncorking an absolute deep bomb way down the field. Eventually, Hardman comes into view, running down the ball from the other side of the field. The rookie out of UGA gets there and hauls it in for a touchdown to cheers from the crowd.
After practice, Mahomes called it, “probably the ugliest sixty-yard pass I’ve thrown.” When he’s got speedsters like Hardman in his receiving corps, Mahomes can get away with “ugly” bombs with punt-like hangtimes. Throughout the offseason we’ve heard about the chemistry Mahomes and Hardman have been developing. If camp is any indication, these two are going to produce quite a few highlight plays this fall.
