Elijah Groves is almost ready to make his college commitment.
Groves will announce his decision at 10 a.m. CT on Saturday morning. He’s a major target for Kentucky in the class of 2024.
He shared news of his upcoming commitment on Friday:

Groves, a Tennessee native, previously announced a top 3 of Kentucky, NC State and Purdue. He took trips to Lexington, Raleigh and West Lafayette during the month of June.
Kentucky is the favorite to land his commitment, according to 247Sports Crystal Ball projections.
He would be a major addition for the Wildcats if they are able to earn his commitment. He’s the No. 370 overall player and the No. 30 linebacker in the country for the class of 2024, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 9 player from the state of Tennessee.
Kentucky currently has 10 commits in the class of 2024. Groves would become UK’s highest-rated defensive recruit in the class so far.
