Former Kentucky star Tyler Herro reportedly lands big extension with Miami Heat

Tyler Herro has inked a massive extension.

The former Kentucky Wildcat signed a new pact with the Miami Heat for $130 million over 4 years, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Herro was getting set to enter the final year of his 4 years, $17,188,836 rookie deal. This extension comes on the heels of a career year for Herro, in which he received the NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award. Herro has averaged 16 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists in his career thus far.

Herro played for the Kentucky Wildcats for the 2018-19 season, helping the team reach the Elite Eight. Herro would then declare for the NBA Draft, forgoing his final 3 years of college eligibility. Herro would go on to be drafted by the Miami Heat with the 13th selection of the 1st round.

During his first 3 years with the Heat, Herro has established himself as one of the game’s premier sharpshooters.
