Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb to be inducted into Kentucky Athletics Hall of Fame

Back when Randall Cobb was in Lexington from 2008 to 2010, he did everything for the Wildcats, playing quarterback, wide receiver, punt returner and kick returner during his college career.
Now a star receiver for the Green Bay Packers, Cobb will be immortalized in the University of Kentucky Athletics Hall of Fame this fall.
Cobb is one of six UK legends to receive the honor this year, along with basketball star John Wall, track and field athlete Sherry Hoover Bordner, broadcaster Ralph Hacker, baseball player Collin Cowgill and volleyball star Sarah Rumely, according to a release from the school.
During his time with the Wildcats, Cobb set the single-season SEC record for all-purpose yards, with 2,396 in 2010. He also set the UK career record for touchdowns with 37.
Last year for the Packers, Cobb caught 60 passes for 610 yards and four touchdowns while battling injuries.
Cobb will be honored at the Hall of Fame ceremony Sept. 22-23, which will be held in conjunction with the Wildcats’ football game against Florida.
