Jacob Toppin made up his mind about what he wants to do next for his basketball career. On Friday, Toppin made a social media post detailing his plans.
Toppin started off his college career at Rhode Island in 2019 before transferring to Kentucky the following season. Toppin averaged 12.4 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game for the Wildcats in 2023. 2023 was the best statistical season of his college career.
Here’s the message that Toppin left for Kentucky fans:
“I want to thank my coaches and my teammates and most importantly the fans. Your support and passion are things that I will take with me. It has been a memorable time for me and Kentucky will forever be a special place in my heart. I’ve loved my time here, but I’m ready to finally fulfill my dream of playing in the NBA. With that being said I will be entering my name into the 2023 NBA Draft.”
