John Calipari provides update on 5-star freshman Terrence Clarke's injury
It has been a while since we’ve seen 5-star freshman Terrence Clarke on the court for the struggling Kentucky Wildcats.
Clarke hasn’t taken the floor for John Calipari’s team since a loss to Louisville to close out the nonconference portion of Kentucky’s schedule.
And, it doesn’t seem he’ll be returning to the floor anytime soon, either. Calipari said on Monday that Clarke will likely be out the rest of the year with the injury:
John Calipari announces on his radio show that five-star freshman Terrence Clarke, who has not played since the Louisville game in December, will likely miss the remainder of the season due to injury.
“There were tears today. His and mine. It’s crushing.”

The Wildcats are 5-12 right now, so it’s not like Clarke will be missing an NCAA Tournament run or anything. Now, we’ll just have to see if the 5-star guard returns for a sophomore campaign or takes his chances in the 2021 NBA Draft.
Clarke is averaging 10.7 points, 3 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game.
