When current Washington Wizards PG John Wall was at Kentucky, he left school early to be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.

That decision was likely an easy one for Wall, as he’s now made millions of dollars in the NBA. However, he’s still not done with his life at Kentucky.

According to Kentucky.com, Wall will return to Lexington this summer to receive his business degree. He said it’s important to him because that’s what he promised his dad he would do:

“I’m going back to school this summer to get my business degree,” Wall revealed. “That’s what I’m focusing on. I promised my dad that.”

Wall has earned nearly $100 million in his eight years in the NBA, so he likely won’t be hurting for money anytime soon.

However, it’s still nice to have a degree to fall back on, especially if he wants to get into the front office side of things when his on-court career is over.
