Keidron Smith is preparing to play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl Saturday, but he has already landed an invite to another premier showcase game as he prepares for the NFL Draft.

Throughout the week of preparation for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, Smith has turned heads in workouts, practices and meetings for NFL teams. On Friday, he officially parlayed his work this week into a Senior Bowl invite for next week.

Jim Nagy, Executive Director for the Reese’s Senior Bowl, confirmed Smith’s invite.

In terms of pre-draft showcase games, the Senior Bowl remains the premier postseason event for draft hopefuls. Smith will play in the Collegiate Bowl this Saturday and then head to Mobile for more workouts and interviews before playing in the Senior Bowl next Saturday, Feb. 4.

During the 2022 season, Smith was a key piece for the Wildcat defense while tying for the team lead with 2 interceptions and tying for second with 5 pass breakups. He added 46 total tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Smith was a consistent contributor throughout his college career that began at Ole Miss in the 2018 recruiting class. Now, he’ll try and turn his postseason appearances into an NFL Draft pick.
