Kentucky adds 4-star power forward from Illinois to its 2021 class

The Kentucky Wildcats are bringing in the nation’s top 2020 recruiting class this season, and those freshmen will be expected to compete right away.
On Monday night, the Wildcats made a big addition to their 2021 class, adding a 4-star power forward from Oak Park, Illinois.

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Hopkins is the No. 7 power forward in the class of 2021 and the No. 2 overall prospect from the state of Illinois.
The Wildcats now have 2 players in their 2021 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 26 in the nation and No. 4 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
