Kentucky trailed Bellarmine 2-0 in the bottom of the 9th inning of Wednesday’s home opener, but came away with a 3-2 victory as senior Oraj Anu delivered a walk-off double.

Anu’s deep double brought home Chase Estep from first.

Hunter Jump got the rally started with a single to center. Jacob Plastiak homered to right field to tie things up 2-2.

Pitching wise, Seth Logue made his first career start on the mound, striking out 6 over 5 innings, allowing 2 runs (1 earned). Bellarmine scored both of its runs in the 3rd inning. The win went to Austin Strickland, who pitched a clean T9.

UK improved to 4-0 on the year with the win after an Opening Weekend sweep of Jacksonville State on the road. The Cats host Western Michigan for a 3-game series beginning Friday.
