A judge in Kentucky has granted a motion to an attorney who requested to move a client’s next court date because of the possibility that the UK men’s basketball team would be in the Final Four.
According to Brian Stahl, the chief photographer at WLEX-18, the motion was granted.
Confidence around the country has grown in the Wildcats as they’ve won 4 straight, including Saturday’s win over Auburn. UK went from being on the bubble or on the edge of the NCAA Tournament, to now a 6-seed and trending up, according to Joe Lunardi of ESPN.
The Cats are 20-9 and 11-5 in the SEC, and this week are set to meet Vanderbilt in Lexington on Wednesday, and then travel to Arkansas for a game on Saturday.
The SEC Tournament could also be beneficial for Kentucky. It’s set to begin March 8 in Nashville.
