Kentucky QB Sawyer Smith updates his status ahead of Arkansas game
Kentucky QB Sawyer Smith was banged up at South Carolina a couple of weeks ago, struggling mightily in the Wildcats’ loss.
His status was in question heading into the off week, but now, as a game against Arkansas approaches, it seems he’s feeling better.
Smith himself confirmed that he’s feeling better on Wednesday after practice, saying he’s been back all this week:
Kentucky QB Sawyer Smith says he’s been practicing all week, throwing, feels a lot better. Time off and a bit of ice and heat helped a lot.

After losing starter Terry Wilson to a season-ending injury earlier this year, the Wildcats don’t have much depth behind Smith.
How will he perform against Arkansas? Tune in to the SEC Network at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday night to find out.
