Kentucky football has had its ups and downs throughout the 2023 season, but there have been some bright spots. One of those has been running back Ray Davis.

He has had to fill some big shoes of some of the greatest running backs the Wildcats have had that include Benny Snell and Chris Rodriguez, but Davis has separated himself and has added his list to the names of the great players to perform under Mike Stoops.

It is because of this that Davis has received a lot of recognition for his efforts on the field, including being recognized as a Midseason Senior Bowl All-American. This is something that is particularly positive for his draft stock, considering that some of the best players in the nation travel to the showcase that is the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama to cement their status, while some of the more under-the-radar players have the opportunity to break out and become drafted whereas they previously may not have.

To this point in the season, the senior Davis has carried the ball 91 times for 653 yards with 8 touchdowns, also catching 4 more scoring passes out of the backfield. How he continues to potentially rise up draft boards will be something to keep an eye on.
