Louisville player appears to chuck water bottle into group of Kentucky fans after rivalry game loss

It doesn’t seem like it was terribly long ago that Tennessee fans threw all sorts of things — including mustard and a golf ball — at Lane Kiffin.

Every once in a while these things happen when it comes to heated matchups and rivalry games, though in Louisville’s 26-13 loss to in-state rival Kentucky, it appeared to be a player giving it back to the fans. In one video released on social media, a Louisville player appeared to throw a water bottle at Wildcats fans.

Here’s a look at that:

Louisville ends the season with a 7-5 overall record after the loss, the same one Kentucky finishes out with as both teams await the announcement of their bowl game destination.
