This week, it was reported that 6 Kentucky football players — Reuben “RJ” Adams, Robert JuTahn McClain, Andru Phillips, Earnest Sanders IV, Devito Tisdale and Joel Williams — were charged with first-degree burglary stemming from an incident back in March.

On Saturday, coach Mark Stoops spoke about the matter, saying the players weren’t practicing with the team right now.

Stoops added he wants to wait until all the information becomes available before he makes any final decisions:

With Week 1 rapidly approaching, it remains to be seen if the 6 players will be active for the Wildcats’ opener against Louisiana-Monroe or not.

For now, though, Stoops is taking a wait-and-see approach and letting the legal system do its work.
