Mark Stoops is making sure to enjoy a special moment.

Stoops is in his 12th season as Kentucky’s head coach. There have some big wins in the Stoops era, like getting to 10 victories in 2018 and ’21 and snapping a 31-year losing streak in The Swamp. But it’s going to be hard to top Saturday in Oxford.

Kentucky’s win over No. 6 Ole Miss – not expected by any of the College GameDay pickers – is UK’s highest-ranked road victory since 1977. Yeah, that calls for some crowd surfing in the locker room.

Barion Brown switched on Instagram Live to give the people what they wanted to see. It was a big day for Brown, who had 5 catches for 88 yards. Though he didn’t log a touchdown, Brown had arguably the biggest play of the game for the Wildcats, a 63-yard catch on 4th-and-7 from UK’s own 19-yard line.

Brown and company get some extra time to enjoy the big win. Stoops’ Troops are off in Week 6. Kentucky returns to action in Week 7, when Vanderbilt visits Lexington.
