Mark Stoops upset with Kentucky after first-half struggles: 'Not good enough'
The Kentucky Wildcats are hosting Chattanooga in what should be an easy win for coach Mark Stoops’ squad.
However, at halftime, the score is 14-10 Kentucky — not exactly what fans at Kroger Field had in mind for this Saturday afternoon game.
At halftime, Stoops spoke with the sideline reporter before heading into the locker room. He criticized his team for not having enough focus and discipline:
Mark Stoops on Kentucky’s first half: "Not good enough. Clearly not enough focus. Not enough discipline. A lot of self-inflicted errors.” Said offense couldn’t stop shooting itself in the foot.

There’s still a long way to go in this one, so we’ll see if the Wildcats come out more focused after the intermission.
But, for now, Chattanooga is giving Kentucky everything it can handle. We’ll see how things play out in the third and fourth quarters.
