Ray Davis did what he’s done all season for Kentucky, which is make big plays in the clutch.

J.J. Weaver stripped Louisville quarterback Jack Plummer to set up the scoring chance. Weaver recovered 2 fumbles in the 2nd half. The fumble recovery ended up giving Kentucky great field position.

Davis and the offense capitalized on the fumble recovery by the Wildcats’ defense. Davis caught a pass from Devin Leary out of the backfield and turned the pass into a 20-yard touchdown.

The Vanderbilt transfer has been very fun to watch this season now that he’s at Kentucky. He had 990 yards rushing and 17 total touchdowns coming into Week 13.

The Wildcats had not led in the game until the 4th quarter. Things are heating up as we had toward the finish line in this rivalry game.

Davis is keeping Kentucky’s hopes of an upset alive.
