Report: Kentucky G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander doesn't want to play for one particular lottery team
As the 2018 NBA Draft quickly approaches, there’s some buzz that the Cleveland Cavaliers will pick Kentucky PG Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with the No. 8 overall selection.
However, ESPN’s Cleveland insider, Brian Windhorst, cautioned against that line of thinking, and for good reason.
On Thursday evening, ESPN Cleveland tweeted that Windhorst said SGA refused to work out for the Cavaliers and said he didn’t want to be there:
Windhorst: I know Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is shooting up draft boards but from what I can tell, it doesn't seem like he wants to play for the #Cavs. He patently refused to work out for them, in fact made a point to tell them he didn't want to be there.

Superstar LeBron James is currently on the Cavs’ roster, but his future in Cleveland is anything but certain as free agency approaches on July 1. Could that have factored into SGA’s decision?
Whatever the reason, it seems like a bad idea for a potential lottery pick to start dictating where he wants to go and where he doesn’t.
