The hits keep on coming for Kentucky.

According to Jason Marcum of A Sea of Blue, Mark Stoops announced that linebackers De’Niro Laster and Kobie Walker will both miss the remainder of the 2016 season.

Walker endured a shoulder injury during the victory over South Carolina in week four of the season. Laster injured his knee against Alabama a few weeks ago.

The front seven for Kentucky has been decimated by injury — and this furthers the epidemic. While their statistical outputs aren’t stellar, Laster and Walker had been thrust into more significant roles in recent weeks.

Walker has accrued 10 tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss — whilst Laster compiled 14 tackles, 2.0 tackles-for-loss, and 1.0 sacks.
