Shaedon Sharpe’s rookie season is off to an unfortunate start. Sharpe will miss the remainder of the NBA’s Summer League due to injury.
Sharpe left Portland’s Summer League game Thursday with a shoulder injury. The Trail Blazers announced Saturday that the MRI showed Sharpe has a small labral tear in his left shoulder. He will be re-evaluated in 10-14 days.

Portland selected Sharpe No. 7 overall in the 2022 NBA Draft. Sharpe enrolled at Kentucky after reclassifying as a class of 2022 prospect to 2021, but did not make any appearances during the 2021-22 season for the Wildcats. Last month, Sharpe said it was his decision not to play.
