Former Kentucky G Jamal Murray is considered by many to be the second-best player on the Denver Nuggets, who are currently battling the Portland Trail Blazers in the second round of the NBA Playoffs.

Murray has been up and down this postseason, but he started Sunday’s game in Portland with a bang.

As you can see below, Murray gets caught on the baseline. As he’s jumping out of bounds, he launches a desperate over-the-backboard shot and, naturally, swishes it:

Murray and the Nuggets currently trail the Blazers 2-1 in the best-of-seven series, but they could tie it up with a win Sunday.

Murray will need to continue to be good if Denver is going to advance to the Western Conference Finals.
