Best game ever? LSU softball pitcher Maribeth Gorsuch throws incredible 7-inning perfect game

Saturday was a night that the LSU softball community won’t soon forget.
In a 4-0 win over Belmont, senior pitcher Maribeth Gorsuch did something that no LSU pitcher has ever done before, tossing a 7-inning perfect game.
Check out how she finished the game in the video below, prompting celebration from her teammates:

“It’s amazing but I have to give all of the credit to my catcher, my teammates, and my coaches,” Gorsuch said after the game. “Without their support none of this would be possible, we work hard day in and day out. The pitching staff was amazing this weekend, nothing beats the support from them.”
Gorsuch threw a first-pitch strike to every batter she faced and struck out a whopping 16 Belmont batters. What an effort from one of the best games ever pitched.
