Bovada releases odds for next LSU head coach
For the first time in over a decade, LSU is in the market for a head coach. So who does Tigers athletic director Joe Alleva bring in to replace Les Miles?
He’ll have his options. And according to Bovada, Houston’s Tom Herman is the leading favorite to take over for 2017 and beyond, though several others have a pretty good shot, too:
Bovada odds for next #LSU coach: Herman 5/4; Jimbo 3/1; Fedora 4/1; Taggart 6/1; Orgeron 9/1; Lane Kiffin 12/1… Petrino 18/1; Briles 28/1

Landing Herman or Florida State’s Jimbo Fisher would probably make most LSU fans happy, though North Carolina coach Larry Fedora would be a good fit as well.
But could you imagine for just one second if Lane Kiffin left Alabama to coach in the same division as Nick Saban? It would make for one heck of a story line during next summer’s SEC Media Days, that’s for sure.
