Brian Kelly met the media on Thursday ahead of LSU’s game against Auburn. LSU is coming off a 49-39 win over Missouri in Week 6.

Per Kelly, the team will be without Chris Hilton, who has 109 yards on 7 catches so far this season. He injured his ankle against Ole Miss on Sept. 30 and has been unavailable since then.

As far as players that were uncertain to play — specifically Charles Turner, Omar Speights, and Aaron Anderson — they have been cleared for Saturday, according to Kelly.

LSU is currently at 3-1 in the SEC. It isn’t out of the SEC West race yet, especially since it has yet to meet the team above them, Alabama, this season. The 2 teams meet on Nov. 4.

Meanwhile, the focus shifts to Auburn, where LSU will look for a much better showing from its defense than has occured in the past 3 games, where it has allowed 125 points combined.

LSU vs. Auburn kicks off at 7 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPN.
