During these unprecedented times, you have to really commend LSU for doing everything in its power to relay the message being given by state and national health officials following the coronavirus outbreak around the world.

After being asked by Governor John Bel Edwards to help join the cause, Ed Orgeron has done multiple PSAs that have been displayed around the state of Louisiana to encourage residents to stay home and practice safe social distancing at all times possible.

Now Orgeron is being joined by LSU gymnastics coach Sara “D-D” Breaux, aka the “Dean of Coaches” in Baton Rouge.

The multi-time national champion coach and SEC Coach of the Year has coached for LSU since 1978, in addition to being in the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame, has joined Orgeron in helping get the word out to Louisiana residents.

The two LSU coaches are also joined by women’s basketball coach Nikki Fargas, who has coached in Baton Rouge since the 2011 season and has led the Tigers to seven appearances in the women’s NCAA Tournament.

You can check out each of their billboards below encouraging all residents to practice social distancing until further notice.
