One of the big storylines heading into the College Football Playoff title game between No. 1 LSU and No. 3 Clemson on Monday night is the health of star LSU RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

Edwards-Helaire suffered a hamstring injury leading up to the Peach Bowl. He still played against Oklahoma, but was severely limited.

On Saturday at the title game media day, though, coach Ed Orgeron said he was confident Edwards-Helaire is back to full strength (via ASAP Sports):

“He looked good yesterday,” Orgeron said. “I think he’s 100 percent healthy. I feel good about it.”

Edwards-Helaire is a huge weapon for the Tigers, so having him ready to go will be big on Monday night. We’ll see in a couple of days how much he’s able to play against Clemson.
