Derrius Guice had to share touches with Leonard Fournette the first two years of his college career, taking away from some of his carries.

With Fournette’s lingering injury last season, Guice was able to accumulate more touches ever before. Now, the Louisiana native gets the top running back spot, and will rarely see the sidelines in 2017.

Head coach Ed Orgeron tried to sell the idea of Guice sitting out the BYU game all week. Clearly, that was clear gamesmanship by the Cajun coach.
