Former LSU DE Danielle Hunter was a great third-round pick by the Minnesota Vikings in 2015.

As a rookie, Hunter recorded six sacks and forced a fumble.

But, already this season, Hunter has been even better. Through four games (during which the Vikings are undefeated), Hunter has three sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery (which he returned for a touchdown).

According to The Star Tribune, Hunter has modeled his game off his teammates’ strengths:

“Everyone on the D-line has helped me a lot,” he said. “I always look at them and try to find something from each one of them that I can make a part of my game, and a big part of that is the coaches. Coach Zim [head coach Mike Zimmer] and Coach Dre [defensive line coach Andre Patterson] always stress things on me, so stuff like that helps me be the player I am.”

Hunter is a big part of the Vikings’ defensive success and the strength of the defense is the primary reason the team is 4-0.

Minnesota will face a tough test on Sunday afternoon as the Houston Texans visit. The game will kick off at 1 p.m. Eastern time and can be seen on CBS.
