Earlier this summer, LSU OL Maea Teuhema announced he was transferring away from the Tigers’ program.

The news came in response to a suspension for violating team rules, and he was given permission by LSU to talk with other schools.

Now, he’s made a decision, as Southeastern Louisiana University has announced that Teuhema has joined the Lions’ program.

The release from the school said coach Ron Roberts is excited to have Teuhema on board and can’t wait to see what he can do on the field:

“We’re excited to have a player of Maea’s caliber join our program,” Roberts said. “He brings a lot of experience and it will be good to add another talented veteran to what is already a group we have a lot of confidence in.”

Teuhema will be eligible to play right away for the Lions, according to the release. He has made 21 starts over the past two years for LSU.
