Jerald Hawkins will have to wait a year to experience his rookie season in the NFL.

The Pittsburg Steelers placed the former LSU offensive tackle on injured reserve, ending his season before Week 1.

Hawkins, who skipped his senior season to enter the draft, hurt his shoulder earlier in training camp.

The Steelers selected the ex-Tiger lineman who played both left and right tackle with pick No. 123.
